Knock Knees

Overview
Knock knees (genu valgum) is when the knees angle in and touch each other while the ankles remain apart. It is common in early childhood but usually improves with age.

Causes

Management
Management of knock knees includes physiotherapy and exercises to strengthen the lower limbs. Custom-made orthotic insoles correct foot positioning, redistribute pressure, and improve overall posture. Severe cases may require bracing or surgery.
