1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the KakiJoy website and the services we provide in Malaysia. By booking an assessment, purchasing a product, or using this site, you agree to these terms.
2. Our services
KakiJoy provides foot assessments, custom orthotic insoles, and related follow-up adjustments. Assessments help identify mechanical foot issues; they are not a medical diagnosis. We recommend a paediatrician or specialist for clinical conditions outside our scope, and we will refer when appropriate.
3. Bookings & assessments
- Assessments may be conducted at our Kepong (KL) store, our Johor Bahru store, or as a home visit across Klang Valley, Selangor, and Johor.
- Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule.
- Assessment fees, when applicable, are stated at the time of booking.
4. Custom insoles & the 5-year service plan
- Insoles are made-to-order based on a 3D scan of your feet.
- The 5-year service plan includes scheduled replacements and reasonable adjustments for the same person, as outlined at the point of purchase.
- Adjustments do not cover damage from misuse, modifications, or normal wear beyond the scheduled replacement count.
5. Pricing & payment
Prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and include applicable taxes. Payment terms are confirmed in writing before fabrication begins.
6. Refunds & returns
Custom-made products are non-returnable once fabrication has started. If the insole does not fit or feel right, we will adjust or remake within the service plan at no extra charge. Please raise concerns within 30 days of receipt so we can correct them.
7. Medical disclaimer
KakiJoy provides mechanical foot support, not medical treatment. We do not diagnose or treat disease. If you experience persistent pain, swelling, fever, or injury, please seek a qualified medical professional.
8. Intellectual property
Website content, photography, and the KakiJoy name and logo are owned by KakiJoy and may not be reused without written permission.
9. Limitation of liability
Our liability under these terms is limited to the value of the product or service you purchased from us. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
